Edgar KhachatryanEdgar Khachatryan, the President of Peace Dialogue NGO, was elected as the new facilitator of Armenia’s National Platform within the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EAP CSF) on December 20, 2023. EAP CSF National Platforms play a crucial role in advancing the objectives of the Eastern Partnership policies within each of the EaP countries. They were established to ensure active engagement of civil society in the reform processes of partner countries. These National Platforms actively participate in policy dialogues within their respective nations.

National Platforms operate in all six EaP countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine, since 2011. They hold regular meetings and annual conferences to assess their roles and activities and plan for the future. The primary responsibilities of National Facilitators are to coordinate the activities of country delegation members within the Forum and represent them in the Steering Committee, which serves as the governing board of the EaP CSF.
